The eighth annual summer camp in Klaipeda/Zuwedra with Sensei Ulf Evenås was as popular as usual: Over 90 aikidokas wanted to come but since the camp was limited to 65 persons not all could participate.
There were people at the camp from seven different countries: Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Georgia, Germany and Sweden.
This time it was a little bit rainy but almost all of the bukiwaza classes were held outside. The taijutsu classes inside contained a variety of techniques all at different levels from basic to Ki no nagare as well as kokyonage and kokyho. This allowed for everyone to be challenged and improve. After classes, swimming in the Baltic Sea was a pleasure for all aikidokas.
At the end there was an examination with good results for Domas Sensei and Edgaras Sensei (Yondan) and Zindrunas (Chodan.)
The excellent organizer, Gintaras Sabukas Sensei, always nice and friendly, got one of the largest ovations on the night of the finishing party.
