In 1989 I arranged the first uchi-deshi weeks at Gothenburg Aikido Club and from 1999 this has been a tradition two or three times a year, so we are also celebrating many years of Uchideshi. During all these years, Aikidoka from all over the world have participated to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Aikido.
This tradition will continue in January 2019 with some of my closest students.

DAN BORG SENSEI
He has received the fourth Mokuroku in Bukiwaza directly from Morihiro Saito Shihan, holds 6 dan Aikikai, shidoin and has been an uchi-deshi in Iwama under the guidance of Morihiro Saito shihan. Dan sensei started training Aikido at Gothenburg Aikido Club under Ulf Evenås Shihan in 1980, after training Judo and Jiu-jitsu for a few years. He started to teach at Gothenburg Aikido Club in 1990, where he currently is the assistant head instructor and has assisted Ulf sensei in seminars in Sweden, Russia, Lithuania and Germany. He has also held seminars in Sweden, Lithuania and Germany. Since 2015 he is chairman of Gothenburg Aikido Club.
GÜNTER ANNBY SENSEI
He is a close student of Ulf Evenås Shihan since nearly 30 years. He regularly follows Ulf in Seminars all around Europe and has held several Seminars of his own, for instance in Germany. He is a senior instructors at Gothenburg Aikido Club and has been teaching Aikido there for 22 years. He holds 5 dan Aikikai, shidoin and has recieved the third Mokuroku in Bukiwaza from Morihiro Saito Shihan.
MARIJAN SPREM SENSEI
His background is in Kyokushin Karate where he holds the rank of 2 dan. In 1993 he started training at Gothenburg Aikido Club under Ulf Evenås Shihan. He was an uchi-deshi in Shibu Dojo, Iwama in 1999. Today he holds 5 dan Aikikai, shidoin and is an appreciated instructor at Gothenburg Aikido Club. For many years he has assisted Ulf Evenås on seminars in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Russia, Hungary and Rumania.
EDGARAS INDRA SENSEI
Edgaras-sensei began training 1993 and became a student of Ulf Evenas Shihan in 1995 and has attended his seminars in Lithuania and Sweden thereafter. Since 1999 Edgaras has yearly been an uchi-deshi in Gothenburg under Ulf Evenås. He has also been training under Morihiro Saito Shihan, Hiroshi Isoyama Shihan and Shigemi Inagaki Shihan. In 2000 Edgaras established Aiki Shuren Dojo, Kaunas where he is the Chairman and Dojo Cho. He has also been teaching at seminars regularly in Lithuania and Poland.
JOHNNY SØRENSEN SENSEI
Johnny-sensei began trainig at Aalborg Aikido Club when it opened in 1993 under the direction of Kim Lundsgaard-sensei. Since 2000 he as regularly stayed in Gothenburg Aikido Club as an uchi-deshi and on seminars under Ulf Evenås shihan. He has also trained at Shibu Dojo in Iwama under Shigemi Ingagaki Shihan as an uchi-deshi in 2013 and 2016 and has participated in several or the Fuglsø seminars under Morihiro Saito Shihan. He has been teaching on seminars in Denmark and Sweden and since 1997 he is Dojo Cho at Aalborg Aikido Club.
